Software and hosting of
the Public Information Bulletin
According to the law passed by the Polish Parliament (Dz. U. #112 Oct 8th 2001, item 1198) many institutions in Poland are obliged to create and maintain so caled "Public Information Bulletin" websites. The purpose of these websites is to allow an access to any information which by law should be publically available. The scope of information covered by the appropriate law is wide - from the law passed by the Parliament to the resoutions by the local city councils, locally passed ordinances, publically funded project tenders etc.
The lawmakers had set rather high technical standards for the websites in question - in terms of security, availability, past content verification, editorial procedures and the like. These requirements disqualify standard web hosting systems and require dedicated systems and procedures.
